It was Gay’s first time in the UK, due in part to the fact that, until recently, she had been anxious to fly for fear of not fitting in the aeroplane seats. In December I had the pleasure of listening to Roxane Gay in conversation with Liv Little, founder of gal-dem magazine, in a sold-out Royal Festival Hall in London.
